About Me

Dorky ahh pic of me from a few years back.

I am 26 years old, but still stuck in 2020.
I am from Singapore, and am ethnically Bengali and am fluently bilingual. (Recently learnt it’s the 7th most spoken language in the world, 6th if going by native speakers, a branch of the massive Indo-European languages and also the only language that went to war, to prevent it from going extinct, creating it’s own nation state.) I’d still love to learn more languages, if I have the time.

Everything I write here, are written and researched by me, so forgive my tangential ramblings and any mistakes. Do give me any feedback to improve whatever I can. (I do use AI sometimes for grammatical corrections)

Professional overthinker, perfectionist, an aspiring polymath and curious soul. I am also diagnosed AuDHD. Basically, I get nothing done, unless it’s worth dying for…

Researcher at heart — release me with a goal/mission I am passionate about, and I’ll dive deep down the rabbit hole till I find some answers, or something truly worthwhile.
My brain is thus a trove of random information, a curator of sorts, so I hope my miscellaneous tidbits of knowledge that I have gathered over the years, may be useful for others.

I like solving problems, optimizing systems, and debugging; especially tech issues.

I’ve recently have been wanting to learn 3D modelling, graphic design and video editing.
I can be laughing about brainrot memes one minute, and be discussing deep philosophical thoughts the next.

I love many things and have many varied interests, like:

  • Arts & Media
I love Abstract Art, Animation, Movies and much more
  • Science
I completed my Diploma in Bio-Materials Science, but I like all facets of science. Bio and Chem are my favourite.
  • Tech
This is my main area of passion. Self-taught “Systems/Infrastructure/DevOps  Engineer”. I focus on optimization, security and performance. I can build PCs, mod Android devices & Linux routers, Optimize Windows systems, ran my own Homelab Media & Game Server at one point with Docker & Unraid, got in trouble for “penetration testing” twice and much more…
  • Food
I can’t stand eating the same food, so am an avid foodie and also have a massive sweet tooth. Always looking for new foods & cuisines around the world and using Food Science to level up my own, and others’ cooking skills.
  • Health
I believe we are the stewards of our bodies and minds, and need to take good care of it. Health is Wealth after all…
Also sexual health, I don’t shy away from learning and bestowing knowledge, of any sort.
  • Philosophy
My hunger to find answers for deep existential questions and my journey in finding the keys to living a good life, treating others and the world around us.
  • Psychology
Me being AuDHD comes with getting a free psychology degree from self-reflection and learning to understand myself, and how I differ from other people. May it help me and others, in finding the cause of our struggles, overcoming them and understanding how we think and have different needs, and how we can operate well within society.
  • Finance
I am a frugal person and learning about investing, wealth management and running my own business at one point, has been an insightful experience.
  • History
I love learning about the past. So much knowledge that others have spent a life time accumulating, for us to learn from and prevent history from repeating itself, hopefully…
  • Internet Culture
I stay on the internet most(who am I kidding… all) of the time and have my own takes on things going on, good or bad.
  • And many more…(Agriculture/Horticulture, Anthropology, Bee-keeping, Medicine, Sociology)

A jack of all trades is a master of none, but oftentimes better than a master of one. – A friend of mine taught me the very important last part.

“Life is like riding a bicycle. To keep moving, you must balance”. — Tals (modified from Albert Einstein)

Nothing wastes life faster than believing that you have to be worthy first, to live it.

The only true wisdom is in knowing you know nothing — Socrates
